The Part-time Poets are a disparate group of authors who, at a chance meeting long ago, discovered a shared fascination with the uniquely wayward side of human existence.
Each is an accomplished novelist, having penned a selection of works over the years, forsaking mainstream literature in favour of an intriguing slant on the traditions that have come to define modern fiction. A reclusive group, they meet periodically in secret to discuss ideas and offer critiques on their respective efforts.
It is rumoured that they hale from the North of England, although this has never been confirmed nor denied. Scientists with an affinity for the creative arts has also been suggested, but, yet again, mystery frustrates fact.
Some say they are in fact a myth. But even if they are; bear in mind that, like all good myths, there is always an element of buried truth to be found if only you are prepared to dig deep enough.
For everything teddy-ish. Of course lots of bears, but also items of sentimental value that have been given bear status over the years together with the odd poem and story that fit right in.
